Yoga in Action (YiA) provides yoga programs to individuals in a wide variety of settings and circumstances. Yoga is a low cost, high impact modality that can support the mental and physical health of ANYONE.
Right now, it feels like we all need a little extra help. Help calming our minds, help focusing on what is important, helping finding a little quiet amidst the chaos. I am participating in this fundraiser because YiA helps bring tools of calming, focusing, and quiet to those who need it most. They provide free yoga, meditation, and breathing tools for veterans, people recovering from addiction, and people with cancer diagnoses and their caregivers. They also host low-cost, affordable classes for all. I, along with over 100 others in NH will (hopefully) work through 108 sun salutations over the course of a couple hours. Donations will support the work that YiA does for people in our NH community. A $50 donation covers the cost of a teacher stipend for one of these classes. $250 covers props for a new class and $2,500 covers one week worth of YiA class. Every little bit helps.
