Mental wellness is a central tenet to Yoga In Action’s ongoing mission to deliver the benefits of yoga to communities in need. Over the past four years, YiA has worked to provide our community with a deeper understanding of pathologies, impacts, and interventions to address the mental health crisis. Yoga In Action’s ‘Light on Mental Health & Wellness’ Series has tackles areas of Mental Health & Wellness including adverse childhood experiences, stress, anxiety, depression and addiction and recovery, tying back to the benefits of yoga throughout. We are thrilled to close out this series by sharing uplifting practices which help our community Connect, Transform, Heal and Thrive!
