Sound Healing and Yoga Mini Retreat
Join us at Carey Cottage for a one day Yoga and Sound Healing retreat. You have the option to choose one session, both sessions or stay through the day for a completely rejuvenating afternoon! Experience Yoga & the Healing Sounds of the Didgeridoo with yoga therapist Rochelle Jewell of Yoga In Action and Joseph Carringer of Didge Therapy as they reunite after more than a decade to offer a blend of these truly therapeutic practices. Enjoy a healthy lunch with the group or on your own. Participate in a guided hike. Spend some quiet time exploring the grounds on your own: journaling, reading, meditating or paddling. This is an ultimate self care event you won't want to miss!
Retreat Schedule
- 11:00am -12:30pm Restorative Yoga in the Music Room
- 12:30pm - 3:45pm
- "Bag" lunch (included with full retreat)
- Guided hike (included with full retreat)
- Free time to paddle, meditate, journal and enjoy the grounds (included with full retreat)
- Private Didge Therapy Sessions (additional fee)
- 4:00pm - 5:30pm Yoga Flow on the Porch
- 30 Minute Entrainment, $75: This session provides an environment for the client to reach a deep meditative state where they can reconnect with their own self-healing abilities. During this session, multiple different didgeridoos are played over the client's chakra system and their corresponding meridian points to help clear stagnation.
- 1 Hour Entrainment, $150: This session is recommended for clients clearing deep energetic stagnations that have manifested in the forms of with PTSD, Chronic Fatigue Fibromyalgia, Cancer and other related chronic illnesses. It can also be used for deep shamanic journeying and meditation.

Things to know:
- Classes are suitable for beginners, but designed with all levels in mind.
- Please bring a yoga mat and any of your favorite props. Additional blankets, mats, blocks, blankets and cushions are available for loan.
- Dress in layers. Afternoon yoga session will be on an open porch.
- If joining the hike, bring closed toe hiking shoes. We will walk both along the shore and through the woods.
- There is an area to put in kayaks or paddle boards. Bring your own equipment and life preserver.
